Concordia Street is a space for students. Our mission is to help students navigate the nuances and complexities of school and beyond. Grounded in culture and research-based frameworks, we help students identify the strengths they already carry and guide them to use those strengths to build authentic road maps and meaningful futures.
Through our programs, we help young people find their voice, clarify their purpose, and lead with intention.
Students meet with a mentor for individualized guidance to clarify their values, identify their strengths using research-based frameworks, and create a personalized map for growth.
Students write what only they can say. Through rich, generative conversations, we center their story in their lived experiences to guide them in crafting an essay that’s powerful, authentic, and unique.
This membership program supports students in building their leadership identity, expanding their community impact, and exploring the relationship between personal history and collective change. Members meet monthly to engage in rich discussion, engage in community projects, network, and prepare to lead others.
This is not tutoring or traditional college counseling. This is comprehensive, whole-child mentorship and strategy. This is a deeply personalized partnership with a CS education strategist to design an exceptional path for 7th-12th grade students.
With over 25 years in education, I’ve had the honor of guiding thousands of students. I’ve served as a teacher, leader, and educational consultant, but my deepest work has always been in helping young people name their strengths, trust their voice, and build a life rooted in purpose.
My approach is grounded in research-based frameworks, which recognize the brilliance students already possess, whether it’s the resilience passed down through generations, the creativity born from navigating complex systems, or the relationships that sustain them. I help students see those strengths, honor them, and activate them toward their goals.
At Concordia Street, I work with students who are asking big questions about who they are and who they want to become. Whether we’re crafting a personal statement, curating volunteer opportunities, or participating in a leadership cohort, our work together goes beyond school or any application process. We’re building a compass, not just for school, but for life.
